Juliet Yoshida
Section Violin
Juliet Yoshida has been a member of the Omaha Symphony since 2011. In addition to her orchestral work she is a frequent chamber music performer and has collaborated with Opera Omaha and ICE, Meadowlark Music Festival, and the Omaha Chamber Society.
Raised in Omaha, she began her violin studies at the age of 9. She earned her B.M. in Violin Performance at Vanderbilt University as a student of Carolyn Huebl and her M.M. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with Andrew Jennings. She plays on a violin by the contemporary violin maker Gregg Alf.
While not performing or teaching she enjoys her husband Tim Strang’s amazing cooking and hanging out with their son and miniature schnauzer.
