Atmospheric waves of huge fabric masses and an ethereal dance of light and shadow on the orchestra promise to thrill in this bold, one-off theatrical concert experience. In a brand-new collaboration for Omaha, visionary interdisciplinary artist Doug Fitch is turning the Holland Center into another world.

You’ll hear the cinematic moments of Don Juan and the violin virtuosity of concertmaster Susanna Perry Gilmore through the pastoral sweetness of The Lark Ascending before we unveil Doug Fitch’s unthinkable sculpture accompaniment to Britten’s Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes.

In a novel show of movement, dancers from Heartland Youth Ballet will bring Doug Fitch's vision to life by executing choreographed movements for lighting elements around the stage and choir loft.
