One of the most epic voices in Omaha goes off the air this weekTuesday, February 7
The Omaha Symphony's 56th Annual Debutante Ball was a smashing success earning over $310,000 for the orchestra's education and community engagement programs.
The Omaha Symphony’s 56th Annual Debutante Ball held on December 27, 2022, at the Embassy Suites in LaVista.
This event successfully earned over $310,000. Net proceeds support the Omaha Symphony’s educational and community outreach programs, serving more than 60,000 students across the metro area and beyond.
This year we started the event with Omaha Symphony’s Violinist, Anne Nagosky, and several of her students sharing their amazing musical talents and reminding us the love of music can start at any age.
We presented 48 Debutantes and 39 Stags along with their families. These outstanding youth were recognized based on their families’ volunteerism throughout Omaha and the metro communities and/or their involvement with the Omaha Symphony.
Guests enjoyed watching the honorees participate in a formal presentation on stage, Grand March, and choreographed dance throughout the ballroom. The traditional Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances were followed by an Omaha Steaks dinner and dancing to Pam and the Pearls. Aaron Carlson Design added to the elegance of the evening with custom centerpieces and stage floral arrangements made with stunning red flowers, evergreen accents and the stage surrounded with red poinsettias.
The Omaha Symphony thanks the Debutante Ball Committee, our families, and donors for their gracious support of the orchestra, its programs, and the communities we serve. Your gift makes it possible for the Symphony to inspire and educate thousands of students by discovering their love for music.
Special thanks to the 2022 Chairman, Kim Falk, and the 2022 Debutante Ball Committee for planning this magical event.
